Our Story

We are the Oskal Family, a Sámi family who have lived with reindeer in Tromsø for generations. Our way of life is deeply rooted in the rhythms of nature and the rich cultural traditions of the Sámi people.

Through our Sámi gift shop, we share not only our own heritage, but also the artistry and knowledge of Sámi craftspeople from across Northern Scandinavia. Each item we offer—from reindeer antler tools to birchwood jewellery and traditional décor—is handcrafted using natural materials and time-honored techniques passed down through generations.
